This report assesses the overall state of conservation in the Pacific Islands region of Oceania, that is, the 21 countries and territories covered by SPREP plus Pitcairn Island. The report uses an analysis of 16 indicators chosen in consultation with SPREP and based on the Global Biodiversity Indicator project (http://www.bipindicators.net).
dataset with internet direct links and resources relating to the global seafloor geomorphic features that represents an important contribution towards the understanding of the distribution of blue habitats. Certain geomorphic feature are known to be good surrogates for biodiversity. For example, seamounts support a different suite of species to abyssal plains.
This dataset contains a guide for policy makers and legislative drafters in the context of plastic regulations
The status of species is based on evaluations made by a regional network of experts, who were trained to carry out biodiversity assessments according to the IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria.
These guidelines detail the process, timeline, and steps taken to complete a State of Environment Report.
The assessment is structured in two related parts:
1. State, pressures and threats.
2. Response.
The global seafloor geomorphic features map has been created through collaboration between Geoscience Australia, GRID-Arendal and Conservation International.
A presentation on what's in and what's not; using the new global seafloor geomorphic map to examine the representatives of global marine protected areas
This guide assists PICs to build on existing laws and institutions to protect their environments, economies and societies from plastic pollution, improve waste management and recovery, and find alternative and practical solutions to avoidable plastic use.

The Addis Ababa Principles and Guidelines for the Sustainable Use of Biodiversity provide a framework for assisting Governments, indigenous and local communities, resource managers, the private sector and other stakeholders, about how to ensure that their uses of biological diversity will not lead to its long-term decline.
The Akwé Kon Voluntary Guidelines are a tangible tool in keeping with the greater emphasis now placed by Parties to the Convention on practical results based on the identification and pursuit of outcome-oriented targets with a view to achieving, by 2010, a significant reduction in the current rate of loss of biological
It is a 2 page brochure which discusses the evolution in biotechnology and the need for biosafety measures to ensure the genetic modified organisms (GMOs) or the living modified organisms (LMOs) follow a national biosafety legislation to address the movement of LMOs across national borders.
